Is it too late to join this party? We are moving to Humacao from California next month. I see that DirecTV now has satellite internet service on the island. We will probably use DTV for TV and are wondering if anyone has experience with their new internet service in the east area. For home business needs, we need reliability, portability, and speed. I'm currently using Aeronet I'm paying $49.95 for 1M/512k ... the installation is a bit pricey, but the service has been pretty stable. Only had one major incident with them with intermittent connectivity, but that was three years ago.

LOL, yeah I hear what You're saying. I've had a couple of very frustrating technical service encounters with Liberty. I swear, a couple of times, if I could of somehow jumped through the phone lines, I probably would have choked someone.

I'm curious though, after writing this post, I decided that it might be interesting to compile a list of all of the ISP's on the island and compare their offers and pricing. Who do you know use as your ISP?

Nice, for the island. My bro gets 15Mbps for 19.95 but he lives in the US so... not the same market.
I hope Liberty is making the investments in infrastructure needed to support this. Where I live, when we had Liberty the service was spotty and the tech support abysmal. One tech once told me my problems where because I had Linux computers and their Internet only worked in Windows or Mac!
