I'm sure the information exists but not easily available and probably misused. There are plenty marketing companies in the island. Someone must have tought this already.

You might be right, Gabriel. What is needed is for some independent authority, like the ISOC-PR to request all of the ISP's to run some data collection programs on their servers so that the independent source can publish aggregate usage statistics. The problem is, I'm sure that asking the ISPs for cooperation would go over like a Lead Zeppelin.

I'm telling you. Centennial is sitting on a goldmine! When you use one of their free hostspots, like the ones in Starbucks, you have to provide a username. So they have a lot of information on web browsing habits and a lot of tracking info too. There may be some privacy issues and maybe thats why they don't advertise they have the info.
Also, anyone with a Facebook account can figure a lot of social web interaction is done during work hours, from offices, that traffic is not tracked the same as retail ISP traffic but its all goes tru Centennial and PRTC. Someone there has to have some spectacular reports.

I'm very interested in the statistics for Puerto Rico as well. I live in Puerto Rico and I hate my ISP; but it's the only "good" one available in my area. I just feel like I'm on a dial-up connection at an overpriced monthly fee when there are better offers out there.
